Aquaglaze by Faux Effects

AquaGlaze® is a superior water-based glazing medium containing high-quality resins and proprietary materials. This complex, slow-drying material is generally used in combination with a good quality, latex paint or SetCoat®. AquaGlaze® eliminates the struggle of custom mixing colors; simply use the color charts at the paint store as the tint to combine with the glaze. The unique viscosity of AquaGlaze® permits effortless manipulation of the material across the work surface enabling the artisan to use a wide variety of techniques such as color-washing, stria and marbling. 

This glaze is designed to have interior house paints added to it in a 4:1 ratio - 4 parts glaze to 1 part paint. This glaze uses the dryers found in regular interior house paint to cure.

DO NOT USE WITH COLORANTS OR PIGMENTS ALONE! Glaze won’t cure properly.
